Harkin Refund & Cancellation Policy

Before the Harkin experience begins

If you change your mind for any reason before your recipient begins their Harkin experience, you may cancel your purchase for a full refund.

Simply contact us and we'll return your original payment to your original payment method.

After the Harkin experience begins

Once your recipient has begun their Harkin experience, your purchase becomes non-refundable.

Because every Harkin story is created specifically for one person, significant work begins as soon as their experience starts. This includes their conversations with Harkin, the creation and development of their story, and preparation of their finished book.

If the recipient decides not to participate

Sometimes a gift doesn't work out as planned. If your recipient has not yet begun their Harkin experience, you may request a full refund or transfer Harkin to another person at no additional charge.

Transfers

Before an experience begins, your Harkin purchase may be transferred to another recipient at no additional charge.

If Harkin cannot fulfill your purchase

If for any reason Harkin is unable to provide the experience you purchased, you will receive a full refund.

How to request a refund or transfer

Contact Harkin with the name and email address associated with your purchase. Eligible refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
